Cygnet Sounds was born in Nicosia, Cyprus and he started his DJ career in late 1999. Passionate about music, in his DJ appearances, he mix Balearic-melodic uplifting Trance, driving his audience to an emotional journey. Up until 2007, he was located on the island of Cyprus, where he was a regular resident DJ in some of the most famous clubs and bars across the Island. During the summer seasons, he is a regular resident at Trance events on Ayia Napa, such as Higher State Trance Nights, Sling Shot, Nissi Beach Bar and others. A day that he will remember the most was when he was in the DJ line-up for the Gatecrasher farewell party at Sensations Club in Nicosia (Cyprus), alongside Niklas Harding, Lange, Dogzilla and AJ Gibson in late 2006. A few months later he decided to move to England.

Once he moved to England, he managed to get DJ residencies at the well known Euphoniq, STATIK and Chaos Theory trance nights in Sheffield, (UK). He also made appearances at events such as Amplified (Derby, UK), InProgress, Digital Society official pre-party (Leeds, UK), Alter Ego Official Trance Nights, (Nottingham, UK) and many more..

From these appearances, he found himself on line-ups that included DJ’s such as John O'Bir, Activa, Genix, Vicky Devine, Davey Asprey, Adam Nickey, Matt Zo, Lazarus, Kane Nelson, Hiddenagenda, SWAP, Paul Pearson, John Dopping and many others.

In July 2009, he won the best DJ contest in Paphos town (107.6 Energy and Sony Ericsson DJ competition), and he qualified for the final in Castle Club - Ayia Napa, to compete against the top DJ’s in Cyprus. Putting together a great set, he manage to win the competition, and be awarded as "The best DJ on the Island" chosen by 107.6 Energy FM radio station (08/08/2009). As the winner of the competition, he won an Ibiza trip prize, and made his debut DJ performance in Ibiza at Topi Bar, San Antonio. The year after (2010), he returned to Ibiza, this time as a resident DJ at the ‘Chaos Theory Goes Large’ Trance night, DJ’ing strictly Trance Classics, together with DJ Alchemy, Adam Christie and other special guests. Also, Cygnet Sounds made regular DJ appearances in other places, like the famous Tropi bar in the west end, San Antonio.
