1.Time Stands Still2.Time Stands Still [Andy Duguid Mix]
3.Time Stands Still [Original Dub] [10/10 for all mixes]
"Time Stands Still is a powerful uplifting trance record, featuring the poignant angelic muses of Folk star Melinda Gareh. The original mix draws on Marks impressive production talents with its warm and punchy enveloping of melodic upliftingness, and adds a notch to his unbroken run of 5/5 reviews in Dj Mag. The Original dub is a standalone instrumental, surviving perfectly well in it's own right, whilst Andy Duguid pulls out the prog stops with an at time startling chunky groover of a mix, warping the vocal snatches into a veritable electronic tech-fest". Dimitri: One of the best vocal trance tunes that was heavily supported by all the usual suspects is finally out and even last week Andy Duguid’s mix was very high on the Beatport trance chart and I’m sure will continues its great performance in the coming weeks too. The original is uplifting melodic epic trance at its best with Melinda offering an outstanding performance sounding fragile and intense at the same time. Mark Pledger is a producer that I believe deserves to come with a bang on 2010 with more outstanding material like this one. Andy Duguid sounds the most obvious choice to remix the track and take it into his own progressive trance meets house territory. Andy always manages to leave me without words after listening one of his releases. Certainly, he has more surprises in his hat for us like his great new personal single Dejavoodoo out now on Black Hole. Time Stands Still is one of the brightest releases to welcome the New Year and decade. I just wish the time to stand still and not grow up anymore….. "Up-and-coming Dutch producer Jerom brings the first 2010 release on the Neuroscience Recordings imprint. Jerom is probably most known for his 'Visions' radio show, as well as some great releases on labels such as Bitter Sweet and Mostly (Dazzle's label).'One Day' has already gained support from Tiesto on his 'Club Life' radio show." Dimitri: Neuroscience continues its survey in the EDM scene and discovers and of course brings to our attention great artists like Jerom that many predict that will be one of the most upcoming new trance kids on the block. His ability to compose music is more than evident in both tracks. The real stand out one is of course One day as it is beautiful and very energetic. The break is gigantic and the strings and synths are worked to the maximum for an explosive effect. We will meet again in the other hand is a bit low profile and good to be a filler in your performance and keep the energy flowing . A good package worth checking out! 3.The Last One 9/10
Dimitri: Certainly Paul Miller was the man in trance for 2008-9. Every release had to have a remix from him if he wanted to be complete and successful. Now Paul Miller(that is of course a pseudonym) comes back with his MELI project on Phoenix to offer 3 very different and quite exciting tunes. If you were expecting to listen his usual 138-140 bPM style better step back cause Paul changes direction in this EP and explores new music territories. My favorite is the tech trance bomber First One. The bassline and the kick drum is so fat that you know that the party will start instantly when the dj drop it without any hesitation. The break is melodic and epic and then when the beat comes back the horse ride comes to an amazing climax. Nothing's Gonna Change Me is the progressive trance style track that is very floating and driving but without having that super melody to take it to the next level. The last one is the more upbeat uplifting one. You will not get a big pumper but rather a more simple and groovy track that I see as a filler than a peak moment in a set. 3.Out Of The Blue 2010 (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
4.Out Of The Blue 2010 (Akira Kayosa Remix) [10/10 for all mixes]
"Originally released in 1999 and for sure a track that inspired masses of nowadays’ DJs and producers to start their career. Opening doors for Ferry Corsten and other major Dutch DJs to conquer the world.A journey that is still lasting for all of them...." Dimitri: It’s time to bring back old memories and remember the moments that we first listen this great record. It was like a big tornado that came into our life and change the way we see and feel the word. We knew that after this record, things will not be the same anymore. Everybody was searching to find who is that guy behind the System f project and of course everybody started to know a Dutch dj and producer called Ferry Corsten. The melody and the synth programming was so amazing that we knew that this record will never die. 2010 starts with the re-release of that classic. 4 great producers were commissioned to move any mountains and recreate the vibe of the original track. I press the play and here it goes. Giuseppe follows the path that we know from him with an amazing really uplifting version that has a distinctive live feel to it. It’s like seeing him perform it live and turn it into a personal production. Tiesto, who lately has changed directions by moving to USA he delivers a very strong tech trance version with a nice electro touch feel to it. The kind of mix perfect to keep the vibe going and create mass hysteria. Akira offers in my opinion the best mix. I think he does what he really knows best. A highly powerful mix reminiscent of his mix on the Ferry/Tiesto classic We Came released on Black Hole last year, and finally Stoneface and Terminal add some more emotional elements by offering a totally different break that is more touching and sensitive opening completely new territories. A package that will keep busy many djs for the whole 2010. Lets go Out of the Blue then.... System f – Out of the Blue 2010 The House mixes [Flashover] 1.Out Of The Blue 2010 (Laidback Luke Remix)2.Out Of The Blue 2010 (Koen Groeneveld Remix)
3.Out Of The Blue 2010 (Simon Gain Remix) [10/10 for all mixes]
Dimitri: It is such a fantastic idea to re-release one of the most influential euphoric uplifting trance record of all time. In many interviews in my radio shows, young artists have mentioned that this record has made them to fell in love with trance and start producing trance music. The super clever twist in the re-release story is of course the house mixes. Can house djs remix such a seminal trance record? Of course, they can without even one doubt. Koen goes the more tech house way and when the superb unforgettable synth riff comes in you know that the dancefloor will erupt, Simon goes the more progressive house route and certainly utilizes the melody in a very creative way but the real bomb is Laidback Luke mix. That guy lately amazes me with what he can do and the way he turns a such a classic in something that is so fat and furious. Its time for the house djs to taste the hymn that trance boys and girls simple adore. Can you Dig it? 3.Setrise - Lost Sun (Sunquest Remix) [9/10]
4.Setrise - Lost Sun (Matt Skyer Remix) [10/10]
"The first of the Infrasonic Future artists to make the step up to the main label Setrise supplies release number 31 on the Infrasonic imprint in the shape of Lost Sun.Heading the package is the man on everyone's lips right now Gary Maguire. Sunquest takes it down a notch with a super stylish cut on remix two while newcomer Matt Skyer who's remix has already been heavily supported by Simon Patterson on his Essential Mix completes the package." Dimitri: Infrasonic is one of the leading labels in quality uplifting trance territory and this release is another testament of how much this label works consistently and hard to keep the quality level really high. Setrise sound becomes more mature and he delivers one of his finest moments in a very powerful and dynamic mix reminiscent of his mix on Dave 202. In my view the remixes supporting the original are the real deal here with Sunquest offering a deeper and melodic prog mix that is good but not his strongest mix, while the 2 uplifting mixes doing the damage. Gary and Matt are in their best form and they provide us straight to the point powerful melodic trancers that will take the clubbers by the hand and will put them in an amazing trance excursion. If you love, uplifting trance this is must have in your collection. You cannot go wrong with this… Mike Danis - Harsh Dawn E.P. [Infra Progressive] 1.Harsh Dawn [10/10]2.Make This Go On Forever (Original Mix) [9/10]
"Hungarian newcomer Mike Danis joins InfraProgressive. He is no stranger to the scene with no less than 13 releases already, Mike has been gradually plugging away with recent support from Ferry Corsten and delivers his best work to date with this two part E.P." Dimitri: Mike Danis delivers two big progressive trance tracks on Infra. Harsh Dawn is superb with its deep bassline, the fantastic built ups and drops and most importantly the very strong melody that stays in your mind days after listening to it. The piano in the break is so good that you feel your body lifted without even the need of the strongest mentalist in the planet. Makes things Go On Forever is more tribal a bit slower and certainly can be categorised as balearic prog trance perfect to warm up your show or to offer some kind of atmosphere to it. Both tunes for me are what I call stand out tracks in a set that will keep your punters happy. Additional info:www.infrasonicrecordings.com Enrico de Luca- Mental Institution [Deep End/Fektive]
"Enrico's string of great releases continues. His latest output Cybermauz being heavily supported by Ferry Corsten in his 'Corsten's Countdown' radio show as well as Markus Schulz and San in his DI.FM show. There's no stopping this man, who's remix of Daniel Portman's - Back to the Underground is still being played and sold all over the world.." Dimitri: If you like Prog House and tech house with melodic touch just be sure to check out what Deep End imprint has to offer. Enrico enters the new year with a Boom and a massive prog house tune that will crossover to house and trance jocks. It’s simply impossible not to want to feel this very fat and driving an amazing anthem that will keep any big event moving and the promoter who have booked you very happy and maybe with an offer to book you once again. Everything has attention to its detail and the production has the word prime time weapon written all over. Superb stream of releases on Deep End. I wonder what is coming up next… Additional info:www.fektive.com Robbie Seed - Daria [Well mixed] 1.Original2.Matt Skyer mix [10/10 for both]
"The half part of Sky Motion musical duo producer, brings on well mixed his solo project. "Daria" is an uplifting trance track with pianos, strings, percussion elements, all ingredients needed for an energetic trance tune. On the remix job, Matt Skyer accomplishes the musical theme in his style". Dimitri: At last Well Mixed from Romania, that is headed from the extremely susccesful in his personal projects Adrian Ivan, after the more electro/prog house stuff is back to what is known for and that is the big uplifting trance anthems. Robbie offers a wonderful uplifting tune with all the usual rocking elements that can keep the party moving and strong contender to become one of the stand out tracks of the night. Matt Skyer lately has his name in many releases and without a doubt 2010 will be his year. Very strong and tight mix that has harder bassline and kickdrum so be careful when you mix it with the rest of the uplifting tunes. Matt breaks and shakes and does what a trance tune should do in first place. Big powerful strings and a break to stop talking and simply listen. Anthem alert and another testament of how big Matt will become this year. 3.House Mix 9/10
"With the release of this brand spanking new title "Xelerate", Richard Durand should be added to the list of hardest working men in the industry. His "Always The Sun" is still doing very well, and the singles and remixes taken from the album rock dance floors all over the world. Richard himself kicked ass last December during his tour through Down Under with of course a very successful live set at Sensation White in Melbourne. The fans that followed him through his Facebook page even saw some unique videos of the man playing at smaller outdoor events, with sweat pouring down his face and at times taking a chance to dance together with the audience. And Richard's enthusiasm, energy and love for music not only show while he's behind the decks, no, this completely new release simply confirms it." Dimitri: Richard Durand continues to amaze us with his releases. Some of them with cool vocals but others like Xelerate come straight from the underground without sweet vocals and only the tough beats driving the track. It has that prog house meets trance sound feel to it that simply works on the dancefloor and for sure is not only for the "die hard" trance fanatics. I love when I listen to a record and I find it difficult to pigeonhole it on one style or the other, and this is the case with this record. Check out the synthy break that adds to the whole climax of it making this irresistible. Of course, the tough original becomes even better in that brutally attacked mix. As the name suggests things become harder, so if you feel weak hearted better avoid at all costs. Massive stuff with the addition of a more prog house version perfect for the Ingrosso's and Prydz type’s out there. I wish to manage to listen it live this year at Trance Energy dropped by the man himself in his set. Additional info:www.blackholerecordings.com Chus Liberata feat. 4.Chus Liberata feat. Tiff Lacey - Beds (Imperfection Remix)[10/10]
5.Chus Liberata feat. Tiff Lacey - Beds (Raul Cremona Remix)[9/10]
"Chus Liberata is the #1 trance DJ in Spain and he teamed up with Tiff Lacey for this release. His previous production on Captivate was supported by Sander Van Doorn, Matt Darey, San and others. As a DJ Chus has travelled around the world and played for brands like Pacha, Sunrise, Mondo Paradiso, which is his own event." Dimitri: Wonderful prog meets tech trance beauty that simply rocks big time with the fantastic female voice of trance Tiff Lacey. You can only fell in love with her beautiful and very sexy voice and the always thoughtful and heart -touching lyrics. Original is great mixture of prog and tribal spanish style trance something that is the case for Raul and Chus mixes that I find them a bit more progressive rather than their usual more banging style. Matthew goes the prog house way with a lovely deep and full of rich bass sound with good use of vocals perfect to give a human sensitive touch to any prog house sets. However, the real deal is the Imperfection mix. It is much more closer to what I like and feel. Powerful melodic trance in the 135 bpm style with all the right elements in place and Tiff voice sounding more prominent leading the whole track. You will love or hate it that’s for sure. Particularly if the last months or so you sleep alone in your bed. 3.Mike Saint-Jules presents MSJ - Mirage (Danilo Ercole Remix)10/10
4.Mike Saint-Jules presents MSJ - Mirage (Illusion Mix)10/10
"Mike Saint Jules hails from New York and is a die-hard trance producer. Mike has remixed artists such as Ronski Speed, Rapid Eye, Filo & Peri & Noel Sanger to a name a few. He has also worked on a number of collaborations with Breakfast. He had previous releases in amongst others Ferry Corsten's label: 'Flashover'." Dimitri: Mike Saint Jules is full of surprises and here he comes with a playful track targeted mainly for the big floors. The main riff and the buildup is so surprising that for sure your crowd will look at you for a moment a bit strangely and then will start dancing again. The climax of the track is great and I feel that only Mike could deliver something so unique and fresh. The package gets added value with the top remixes included and I’m sure that any dj will find the favorite version according to his set needs. Danilo that certainly is one of my favorite producers and I always check him out carefully when I see his name brings to the masses a really driving and pumpy tech trancer in his own ‘Danilo’ way. Arnej under his alias Illusion offers a very well balanced prog trance deep version that is melodic and touching and floats very nicely perfect for prog trance sets and for sure a very interesting and unique approach to the top original. [10/10 for the whole package]
"Miami based DJ/Producer George Acosta drops his first release on our Songbird imprint. The track, entitled "True Love", is the perfect example of state of the art vocal trance and features the captivating vocals of Fisher. We are dealing with one of those outstanding cuts that would perfectly fit on Tiësto's hailed In Search of Sunrise series. Gerry Cueto's remix stays close to the original, but he definitely adds a rougher edge to the song with his additional programming." Dimitri: George Acosta lately has some great releases for instance his co-operation with Tiff Lacey on his own imprint Aco music. True Love incorporates superb warm melodic bubbly beats and as cherry on top the ethereal voice of Fisher. Those are the two key elements in the success that I’m sure will come for this great record. I believe that you don’t need nothing more to add if you want to have your audience happy and the dj community too that welcome records like this. The warm progressive trance original becomes a big club buzzokas in the hands of George in his more upbeat club mix and of course the addition of Gerry Cueto who does a tech trance alternative with grungy bassline and wonderful use of the Fisher vocal with a lot of effects. The kind of mixes that the vocal becomes an instrument rather than being just the voice on top. Both more upbeat versions have fantasy and try to break down the boundaries of the prog trance genre and do their own thing. In this case happens their own thing to be the right thing for all the happy trance fanatics like me..You will fell in love with this record truly. Zoo Brazil featuring Leah - You Can Have It All [ Magik Muzik] 1.Album Version 10/102.Butch Remix 10/10
3.George Acosta Remix 10/10
4.Rosie Romero Orb Mix 9/10
5.Steve Kaetzel Remix 9/10
"Zoo Brazil just released his brand new album "Please Don't Panic" on our Magik Muzik imprint and the very first single taken from it is "You Can Have It All". The track features the mesmerizing vocals of Leah, better known as Gita Lake. Expect a cool summer breeze when you check out the fabulous album version, 'cause Zoo Brazil's arrangement combined with Leah's voice deliver that ever so appealing ISOS sound that will take most of us back to the good times on Ibiza". Dimitri: I’m so glad to see Magik Muzik giving the chance to one of my favorite prog house projects that is Zoo Brazil to open his wings and produce a full artist album. The first single certainly is the best opener for a new album as it has big crossover potential for daytime radio play as it is extremely pleasurable to your ears while you try to get away from the city traffic in your car but includes some big club mixes to make this a dj favorite. The original is summerish and positive all the way with Leah proving that she can deliver beautiful lyrics in a very distinctive and catsy for the ear way. For me only the name Zoo Brazil becomes a seal of approval so the album mix is extra smooth and special. The remixes now cannot get any better than this. The Turkish Butch is one of my favorite tech house producers (amelie on Great Stuff was a hymn) and in his version takes the key elements the original and move them in his own playground. Of course, he scores big time with his full on but still minimal tech house approach and 'crazy' use of the vocal. George Acosta continues to impress with a big club interpretation. Big Thumps Up power trancer with a dreamy floaty unpretentious and super delicious break. When the beat comes back the track is transformed into a tech trancer beast. Rossie mix is fine as it strips down all the elements in a more mainstream club approach while Steve does an anthem in a very big synths hands in the air approach but still for more commercial enviroments. If this is an album taster , I feel that the album should be a winner. Additional info:www.blackholerecordings.com Adam Fielding - Lost In Silence[SolarSwarm Recordings] 2.Lost In Silence [Elfsong Remix]
3.Lost In Silence [Estiva Remix] [10/10 for all the versions]
"This is the very first release on the worlds very first - and only - social network record label. Solarstone is the only artist to have a label run and supported by a 100+ strong committee who choose all music and art! 'Lost In Silence' is the work of stunningly talented Huddersfield based producer Adam Fielding. The Original Mix fuses minimal progressive grooves with some deep, dark and gorgeously warm melodic touches. Estiva, the producer which solarSwarm members chose to remix the track, cranks up the octane. Elfsong aka Styleclash is one of Hungary's hottest exports, his remixes and productions for labels like Silk and Proton have earned him a stellar reputation this year, and this classy remix of 'Lost In Silence' is possibly his finest moment to date. Dimitri: First of all I want to express my congratulations for Solarstone idea to start a real people’s label that means that is administered by the people rather some industry strange grumpy types. The original is superb progressive trancer, the style that personally find more adventurous with soul and most importantly faraway from formulas and repetition of old ideas. The remixes included take the main melody and turn it in their unpredictable ways. Estiva offers a top uplifting interpretation by using that melancholic type of quitar riff in the break in a such way that you will feel that the hair of your back will stand up and stay like that for hours. I feel words lose their meaning and sound very small when you try to describe tracks like this one. Elfsong takes the track in the same route as the original but in a deeper prog house territory and the result is of course awesome. State of the art trance that deserves to be supported. I hope more and more labels will follow that idea to set up labels run by fans. Additional info:www.solarswarm.com Luca Antolini & Andrea Montorsi – Orbital [United Styles] 1.Original2.Space
3.Shuffle mix [9/10 for the whole package]
Dimitri: This release is great start for 2010 for the lateams group of labels. Three dynamic ultra powerful trance versions to put any dance floor on fire and on the move of course. Original is powerful and melodic tech trance version that im sure big name djs will love to play and support. Particularly the vocal sample fits very well with the whole atmosphere of the track and is used in such nice way. Space mix is the trancier uplifting version that flows nicely perfect for any uplifting trance set. Shuffle mix is very epic and driving but be warned in more techy version that is great for uplifting sets and sounds if you move towards harder selection. Of course, in all three versions the break is very very long but it is so nicely produced that people will never get bored till the beat comes back in a manic manner. Maybe a version with a shorter break will be a nice addition. Additional info:www.lateams.net Abstract Vision Vs Elite Electronic - Cold Air [Proxoz] 1.Original Mix 10/102.DSI Remix 9/10
3.Dimension Remix 10/10
"Proxoz first release for 2010 comes from the 2 new producers Abstract Vision & Elite Electronic. The scene have seen a couple of releases from these artists already supported by the biggest names around" Dimitri: This production outfit always surprises us very positively with some very cool and strong releases. Cold Air is for sure one of the strongest till to date. Progressive trance deep bassline and beautiful piano riff in the break that is very well executed and enriched with atmosphere that even will make you feel that a breeze of Cold Air is coming out from the speakers in the club. DSI version is tech trance more straight forward clubby version with nice club sounds and epic kind of full on hands in the air break. But if you want something even more effective Dimension mix is the more uplifting one, as it offers to the track that top of the night peak time flavor. Great start for Proxoz who always takes serious care of what tunes to put out. Additional info:www.proxoz.xom A.W.E.R.S Feat. 4.The Dreamline Remix 9/10
"New to the scene but not to trance A.W.E.R.S and Rave CHannel come together magnificently in their debut single with Dangerbox Recordings. With stabbing melodies and a kickin bassline that supports some amazing vocals, you can't go wrong with this one, no matter where you listen" Dimitri: The original sounds to me quite commercial and the kind of that track that can easily crossover to daytime radio playlists that play vocal trance tunez like this one and big compilations like Dream Dance. Certainly is a track that has many influences and the mesmerizing vocal on the top makes a track that you know that the crowd particularly girls will love it. Rave channel version is more prog house mix that despite being very enjoyable sounds to me very short and a bit underdeveloped. The best mix that will appeal to more big name djs is the dreamline mix that is much more deeper, mysterious, travelling, erotic and with less use of the fine vocal. Positive track perfect to warm our senses and take us away from the melancholic January cold nights and days. 3.Bonus Track 'Lost' [9/10]
"Following a string of successful releases in 2008, Scottish born producer Andy Mac Dougall aka 'Andy Tau' is already no stranger to the scene. This is his debut signing to Deepblue. Displaying a slightly more deeper melodic style than some of his previous releases, this is without question a lovely bit of prog-trance fusing techy-tinged grooves with haunting emotion and stunning chord progressions. To complement the original, 'Akira Kayosa and Eldritch Project' return after the release of their 'Alpha State EP' with a tougher edged peak time remix. To finish off the EP we also have the bonus track 'Lost'. A 'dark horse' of a tune." Dimitri: Andy is certainly a very talented producer that every day proves more and more his incredible ability to offer really distinctive and unique productions. The original is cool electronic melodic affair with a lot of attention to its detail. You can not stop thinking of long summer nights while you listen to the original that sounds great to start an uplifting set and fuse it with a bit of moody undertone. Akira and Eldritch Project version is simply fantastic. Very powerful and intense is the version that gets my wholehearted support. this is the one that gets my vote and support. Full on uplifting affair with a lot of energy and a perfect crafted break that is long as it needs to create tension till the monstrous beat comes back to bring that climax. Lost is much more summery and lost in ibiza kind of a tune that can be used easily as a filler. Overall a release with twists and surprises. Better to check it out for yourselves. 3.Nick Rowland mix [10/10 for the whole package]
"This is a splendid slab of uplifting melodic trance in its Original Mix, proper full-on peak time club music which has been a staple of label boss Solarstone's dj sets for over a year now, since he signed it for the 'Electronic Architecture' album. First up on remix duties is Northern Ireland's Dan McDaid aka Dingle. Nick Rowland's remix however is the star of the show" Dimitri: Crashing waves is one of the labels that everyone is watching out for because it continues to deliver great tracks one after the other with the word quality on top. The latest forthcoming release is an example of high quality uplifting melodic trance in its highest caliber in the original mix that will simply put you in a state of trance because while you listen to it you will feel transcended to another mysterious place. Nick mix is a bit different from what we were used to listen before from him. It is much more prog trance full of the nice melodic touches that we always wait from a proper prog trance track. Dingle though, is the mix that wins my vote as it includes the more interesting twist in a remix so far as it takes the track in more deep dark path but so melodic and glorious perfect to start a set or for warm up set uses. Crashing waves keeps Crashing away from the easy formulaic trancers and open our ears to new unpredictable ways. Just open your ears and get ready to be challenged. "The early millennium witnessed the inception of a dynamic trio consisting of BBC Radio One's Judge Jules, mastermind producer Darren Tate (DT8 Project, Jurgen Vries) and sublime vocalist Amanda O'Riordan. They were best known to the world of course as the world as 'Angelic'. It was the year 2000 that paved the way for many Angelic anthems including 'Can't Keep Me Silent', 'Stay With Me' and of course 'It's My Turn'. Now as we approach the latter part of 2009 their seminal classic 'It's My Turn' is to be given a new breath of life." Dimitri: It’s about the time one of the most euphoric trance projects to come back even with a re-release of their biggest anthem "It’s my Turn". The lyrics are so meaningful that anyone can identify with them and Amanda’s performance is so powerful and unique that it’s impossible to pass unnoticed. The new remixes cater for all the sub-styles of trance and even a cool electro house alternative by Eats Everything. Darren new version updates the original in the best way by keeping the vocal at the forefront and with enough room to breathe and shine. It has progressive and electro influences all fused together in a very Darren Tate direction. Corderoy after the massive Kyrie & Rock Quitar rocks my world with the most uplifting and straight to the point mix that will cause massive hysteria in any trance arena that maybe droped. The rest of the mixes are tasty and they try to find a totally different angle so to worth your penny. The most commercial mix as you can expect is from Flip and Fill in their usual hands up pop trance style perfect for daytime radio play. I wish Amanda to come back again and offer her great voice once again to the biggest trance tunes. Additional info:www.mondorecords.com Aura - Share The Tears 2010[Redux Digital]

4.Cyrex Trance Mix 10/10
Dimitri: Redux comes back with a bang and a very nice tune that I guess is a rework of the classic trance track Share the tears, very well known in the trance scene. Very emotional and with nice opera singing in the break that really adds to its very dramatic and ‘out of this world’ atmosphere. Uli tries a very cool version quite epic and powerful nice to cross over to trance and house jocks. Original mix is fine but i find it a bit weak for the beat and the bass used while Pluton mix make use of nice piano sounds and the opera bits and it sounds to me perfect for the more tech trance sets. The real winner on the package for me is the Cyrex Trance mix. Really fat and furious, very driving and with meaty beat to turn the classic into a modern day big hymn. This mix I have a feeling that will win the most support. Additional info:www.reduxrecordings.com Six Senses pres. 4.Setrise Remix 9/10
"Infrasonic honcho Six Senses joins the team for release number 32 with his long awaited follow up to hit single Cosmic Belt. The Dutch producer has been in fine form over the last 12 months with his work being championed on FM stations worldwide and he continues his rich vain of form with another epic original. Heading the package is man of the moment Tom Colontonio. Infrasonic favourites Deep Care and Setrise complete proceedings with their own unique interpretations for good measure". Dimitri: Six Senses, one of my favorite Infrasonic bosses is back with an amazing track. October winds has all the potential to become one of the tracks that every single dj on the planet will love to own and play. It’s simply put it a quality power stormer with a break that is destined to become the time that the club will start all the fireworks show. Pure trance pleasure for a journey that you wish to never end. Tom Colontonio of course continues to deliver big epic remixes and here he comes with a lovely mix that is effective and has some very nice moments that will leave you satisfied. Deep Care produces an epic mix that is bit chaotic in my ears. A lot of things are going on but nothing is so prominent to keep the interest and focus it in a certain direction. Perhaps a new shorter edit will be an idea. Setrise surprise me once again as he decides to invent a new big electroish riff on his own and produce a tech trance bomb that will cause that mayhem on the trancefloor. This version will be welcomed from the harder edge djs without a doubt. Note down the release date on your diary and make this perfect release your choice. 3.Gary Maguire Remix
4.Sunset Remix
"Nu-Depth kick start's its 2010 schedule with a hard hitting cut from Indecent Noise. Aleksander Stawierej certainly knows how to get things rocking on the dancefloor with his explosive sets that contain remixes and reworks from this incredible talent". Dimitri: Superb release to start in great style the new very promising year for Nu-Depth that goes from strength to strength. Aerospark is melodic trance at its best that you know that fits any uplifting set without second thought or consideration. Aero mix goes the epic way in one of the two stand out versions for me. I guess this is the original mix as well. The title sums it all for me. It has that uplifting air touch to it and the spark to be witty and stand out from the rest. The second stand out version is the sunset mix. This is how my trance wants to be for sure. It is like a journey with the take off’s and the landing moments. The perfect fly to the sky very high kind of sound that trance addicts will feel to the bone. Spark mix is techier with less melody and attention to the fat thumping bass perfect for more underground types and Gary decides to offer a totally different sound to the original with a techno mix perfect for techno djs who are not afraid to play techno with melodic moments. A package that is so complete as it caters for variety of styles in the trance vast territory. Additional info: www.nu-depthrecordings.co.uk Shato - Detuned Sorrow E.P. 4.Detuned Sorrow (Kas Van Dor Remix) [8.5/10]
5.Shato - Pure Reflected (Original mix) [10/10]
"SHato comes back again with his Second EP on Silent Shore Records in a big style just as we expected. He really proves that he is a respected artist. Detuned Sorrow is a lead tune of the EP that comes with an amazing melody line, SHato original vocal cuts, and a driving bassline. From the beginning to the end, you will fully enjoy this one." Dimitri: Another stunning release from Silent Shore. Slowly this label build such a good reputation because of that great ear for beautiful tunes that decides to unleash to the trance commenity. The Club mix from the original mixes of Detuned Sorrow is my favorite with all its nice programming and the beautiful melodies that flow so nicely. Then my stand out mix is from Reorder, the label owner, who offers a lovely prog trance with electro influences mix very close to what Gareth Emery produces and as it seems many people love and appreciate. Of course Re-Order takes the track in his own direction making this prog trance style very personal. Pure Reflected is a great additional track that is traveling and full of emotion and surprises. Just have your ears open as every respected dj will find a favorite version and will drop it for sure. "Seattle (USA) based Magnus has turned into a production machine, churning out a massive amount of high quality productions causing a headache in the JOOF office trying to decide which ones to chose for the next single! Good new is that he will soon have an artist album ready" Dimitri: Both tracks are very strong psy influenced uplifting hard trancers as always of the highest quality that the seal of approval of Joof guarantees. Magnus is a very talented artist and he always delivers tunes with a lot of passion and creativity in them. Tracks that will easily crossover to uplifting trance dj sets too. Anton Chernikov presents Crystal Verge - Invasion [Joof] 1.Invasion - Original Mix
2.Invasion - Invisible Reality Remix
3.Invasion - Vadim Zhukov TFA Remix
4.Invasion - Psy Progressive Remix
5.Invasion - Roeth & Grey Remix
6.Invasion - Tribal Walkers Remix [9/10 for the whole package]
"This has to be one of finest Progressive Trance packages we’ve heard for a long time, making us even more proud to have this released on JOOF recordings. Anton brings a whole host of his remixing friends to the table to compliment is drop dead sexy original mixes!! Each remix has its own take and all can actually be played in the same set as they are individual enough. This is the future of Progressive Trance music!!" Dimitri: Joof always delivers releases that the psy trance community loves and support. This track has so many different versions to choose from according to the time of your set and your own mood too cause if the dj does not feel good with his music is impossible for his audience to have good time. Vadim Zhukov and psy progressive mixes are my favorites as I find them the more easy ones to incorporate in an uplifting trance set without any problems. Another joof beauty for sure. 3.Flash Brothers mix
4.Frankinelli mix
5.Colorless mix
"Emotive first release of 2010 sees David Akermanis teaming up with Marcie on a melodic progressive house song with strong mainstream appeal. Remix duties are taken care of by Flash Brothers, Frankinelli and Colorless." Dimitri: Marcie one of the most consistent vocalists with a very unique and distinctive voice delivers a very sweet and sexy vocal on the wobbly progressive beats by David in a track that will fill hope and smile the dancefloor. The remixes are full on dancefloor power with the Flash Brothers mix being my favorite as it rocks with its immense energy. Very upbeat and melodic are the other two mixes twisting and turning Marcie vocal and delivering two very epic for peak time use versions. Give it a chance to check it and the rest will follow.. 3.Aerotek 10/10

5.JQP 8/10
"'Secret' is the latest in a string of releases for Marcie on System Recordings. Her previous System releases have been supported by the worlds top DJ's, and have rotation on XM radio and Music Choice TV. John Isaac, a DJ/Producer/Remixer, from Boston, is a well rounded talent with a passion and drive that can be seen in his original work, remixes, and DJ sets. John has played events with some of the worlds best DJ's and Artists, such as Lee Dagger of Bimbo Jones, Filo & Peri, George Acosta, Jes Briden (Motorcycle), Kyau & Albert, Roger Shah, Randy Boyer, and Kenneth Thomas to name a few." Dimitri: System certainly strikes it lucky with a fantastic new release by John Isaac and the always pleasure to listen and enjoy Marcie. The original is a progressive trance meets house version with electro touches and use of many effects and Marcie on top. The result of this great mixture is a delightful version that is perfect starting point for the remixes. Mike St Jules dub is full on powerful progressive trancer that utilize the elements of the original to produce a must have version for all the djs out there. Second great version is by Aerotek with the nice deep bass and the driving atmosphere. An epic mix perfect for peak time use and abuse. D&I mix is more for the electro house dancefloors and JQP is a ‘breaks’ version perfect to start or finish off a set or for a lounge mix. This release will not be anymore secret when will be out for sure… Additional info: www.myspace.com/webmarcie And last but not least: Madonna – Revolver [Paul van dyk mixes][Warner]

The new single by the queen of pop is out and certainly once again she surprise us with a track full of very clever and deep lyrics and of course her delivery that is second to none. She only knows how to sing as Madonna. Many people can imitate her style, clothes and make up but can not sing like her. What happens when Madonna asks one of the most important and influential dj on this planet Paul van Dyk to remix her single? I don’t hide that I was very curious on how this remix will sound. Paul van Dyk version certainly is a sure shot as he goes to the progressive house meets electro with twist of tech trance version in a hybrid that fits perfectly the original version. 8 epic minutes with excellent use of Madonna vocals in the break and a massive build up and a thunderous main part with strong beats and full on power atmosphere. Of course there is dub version with less Madonna in it. Paul van Dyk impress us all and wins my vote, I believe yours too…
