The new weekend will start uplifting and funky with tracks by Phatnoize (the retro, sampling Do It Yourself by Gloria Gaynor from 1975) or Alexandra Burke (great Bimbo Jones remix!), from New Zealand we’ll enjoy a brand new track by Vince Harder, Jolyon Petch and Genearal Lee (my fav this weekend!), Moto Blanco is back with a remix for Matt Zarley and DJ Meme delivers a beautiful summer song with the help of the fantastic Gavin Bradley on vocals.

If you are more into banging club tracks - no problem, a couple of bad boys are on the way too! Check out Sonny Wharton’s remix on Rocking Music by Martin Solveig (huge!!!), Anthony Atcherley’s take on a Prince classic from 1987 and a perfect Southside House Collective booty. It’s finally here - the first release of the amazing collaboration between Sir Elton John and the Australian dance music duo PNAU. A full album is set to be released in July. The first single called “Good Morning To The Night” (featuring samples from no less than 8 of Elton’s songs), remixed by Cahill, is simply brilliant. My track of the week! Last weekend was a sad one - we lost two dance music legends, Donna Summer and Robin Gibb. I grew up in the disco area with their music and they will be sorely missed… Let’s dance again to one of Donna’s biggest tracks, “On The Radio” got the remix treatment lately by Discotizer from Germany. And we will also groove to a song that made it on top of the charts in Germany and Austria in 1983 called “Juliet” from Robin Gibb’s album How Old Are You. The remix is from 2005 by David Kurtis.

If you like it funky and uplifting than this show is definitely for you! Moto Blanco and eSQUIRE remixes, summer tracks like Stereojackers’ version of Chicane’s “Offshore” or Martin Wright’s awesome new release called “Freedom” with Angie Brown and Simon Green on vocals.
