ED Live - Global Mindset

Every First Tuesday of the month at 18:00hrs

In 2010 we - Corjan Aker (Excentric) and Martijn van der Jagt (MvDJ) - launched a new DJ project called ED Live.
After a couple of years of playing at clubs in Holland and London, at festivals like Ground Zero (Excentric) and Dance Valley (MvDJ) and many other venues we both took a break to focus on our label ExpandDigital and studio productions. Once the label was up and running and after some very succesfull releases (see Discography in the Releases menu) we decided to hit the dancefloors again, but this time together and with a totaly new concept: ED Live.

With this project we present an act that is more then just mixing tunes on CDJ's. ED Live contains two laptops, two midi-keyboards and two music freaks. Our concept is to bring mixing dance music to a new level by adding samples and some stunning effects to a set of uplifting trance music. ED Live kicked-off at the 'Love and Respect for War Child' benefit party in one of the biggest clubs in the Netherlands; the Lexion in Westzaan. This included producing the anthem track for this event; The Innocent.

In april 2011 ED Live joined Senses Bookings. This agency combines DJ sets with amazing visuals that fits the artists. Stay tuned with ED Live.
