Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 151 23rd/24th July
Hello Weekenders! Good news! The Official 2010 World Cup Song “Waka Waka†by Shakira got the Richard Cutmore treatment! The result is absolutely brilliant - the perfect happy feel good sound I am loving… The best way to kick off the weekend. The retro track this time is coming from Fierce Collective featuring Peyton on vocals, remixed by the Bassmonkeys. They covered the 1978 classic “Baker Street†by Gerry Rafferty. Raffertys biggest hit made it on No.3 in the U.K. and No.2 in the U.S. charts. My favourite this weekend, “Im Feeling You†by Prince Dred Ft. Naeemah Harper, was originally released in 2000 on Prince Dreds album, “The Planet of the Dred“. 10 years on, the track has been brought up to date for all you hot house heads and will come with several remixes by Leisuregroove or Dave Doyle as example. The best one has been made by Marcus Schmitz, a DJ / producer from my hometown Hamburg/Germany. So emotional… beautiful! Soon to be released on Digital Disco Records. And there are even more highlights I am able to present this weekend like Samuele Sartinis awesome 2010 take on Ultra Natés “Free†or “I Will Never Gonna Give You Up†by Obsessiv Ft. Sophia May, produced and remixed by Chris Dececio aka Bellatrax. Another hot and beautiful weekend ahead of us. Enjoy! The Tracklist: 1. Shakira - Waka Waka (Cutmore Club Remix) 2. DJ Assad Ft. Vincent Brasse - As One (Original Mix) 3. La Miss - Something I Should Know (Mattara Remix) 4. Obsessiv Ft. Sophia May - I Will Never Give You Up (Bellatrax Summer Mix) The Retro Track5. Fierce Collective Ft. Peyton & Lady V - Baker Street (Bassmonkeys Club Mix) 6. Seamus Haji & Romain Curtis Ft. Awa - Just A Friend (Vocal Mix) 7. The Bang Bang Club - Chemistry (Digital Dog Club Mix) 8. Ultra Naté - Free 2010 (Samuele Sartini Remix) 9. Dirty Laundry - I Want You To Fly (Oxford Hustlers Mix) DJs Favourite This Week10. Prince Dred Feat. Naeemah Harper - Im Feeling You (Marcus Schmitz Remix) 11. Sound Of Soho Ft. Amanda Wilson - Smile (Original Mix) 12. Jerome Jerkins - Four To The Floor (Original Mix)

Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 30th/31st July 2010
Hi Again, I know that many of you are enjoying the retro tracks I am spinning, its always nice to listen to goodies we know from the past and to hear some new versions. This weekend well do a trip back in time as a couple of tracks are sampling songs we heard before. The “official†retro is a disco classic from 1979, Jackie Moore hit #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Music / Club Play Chart with “This Time Baby“. In 2005 the Freemasons sampled the song for their smash “Love On My Mind“. Agent Stereo from Chile worked on a Disco House version for you and did a good job! I am sure that you will remember Stardusts 1998 hit “Music Sounds Better With You“, a track that samples “Fate†by Chaka Khan from 1981. The Ruff Loaderz and Cut Up Boys 2010 remake got the eSquire piano treatment. Nice! My favourite this week is Bellatrax new version of Dave Lee aka Joey Negros “Make A Move On Me“. U.K. producer/DJ/writer Chris Dececios updated the 2005 smash nicely. Essential on every commercial danceflloor! Have a great weekend! The Tracklist:1. Kelly Mueller - She Cries (Soulshaker Classic Club Mix) 2. Ruff Loaderz / Cut Up Boys - Music Sounds Better With You (eSquire Remix) 3. Alex Nocera Ft. Hi Weekenders, Happy days are here again - the weekend starts with a Chic remake by Seamus Haji and Mark Knight (Funkagenda). Chics 1979 hit “Good Times“, a #1 in the U.S. and #5 in the U.K. charts, became one of the most sampled songs in music history. The retro track this week. The Italo-Dance Duo Prezioso & Marvin had a couple of chart successes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with songs like “Tell Me Why†(1999) or “Rock The Discothek†(2001). Their 2009 release called “I Believe“, a cover of the first Marcella Detroit (Shakespears Sister) solo single from 1994, has been re-released by the newcomer label Mathouse Records from Hamburg, Germany and is coming with several mixes. Germanys Daedalus made a fantastic melodic remix with wonderful stings and a piano to die for… Definitely my favourite! What else? New songs from Bob Sinclar, R.I.O., Chicane and Ezcapade, a collaboration of front lady Carina Lirola and Multi Platinum, Grammy Nominated record producers Love To Infinity who have accumulative sales of all their remixes and productions totalling 34 million units worldwide to date. Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 153 13th/14th August 2010
Hi again, Lets kick off the weekend with a retro - “Now That We Found Love“, originally recorded by The OJays (1973), was a hit in 1981 for the reggae band Third World. A Hip Hop version by Heavy D & The Boyz made it into the charts again in 1991. If youve never heard these versions you might know the remake by Sunloverz which was a club success in 2009. Italys Antonio Falcone is next in line to cover this song with the Groovesplitters on the remix. Dutch DJ and producer Damien S teamed up with vocalist Lee Thomas (4th Child - Now I Found You) for his new song “Long Lost Summer Love“. The Stereojackers are transforming this song into a full on hands in the air anthem, destined to be one of the summer anthems of 2010. My favourite this week. You will also get a 2From1 again, both the Josh Harris and the Loverush UK! remixes of “Closer†by the wonderful JES are too good not to spin them this weekend - and so you will hear them in the mix… Enjoy! What else? The brand new Electric Allstars remix of Jason Derulo's latest single "What If", Shena's "How Come You're Dancing" from her upcoming new Album remixed by Nu Addiction and the return of Disco Diva Linda Clifford. A perfect start into a party weekend! The Tracklist: The Retro Track1. Antonio Falcone - Now That We Found Love (Groovesplitters Club Mix) 2. Sergio Mendes Ft. Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 156 27/28th August 2010
Hi again, Its the end of August already… And it smells like it is autumn here in the north of Germany. Its pretty cold. It is pouring with strong winds. It is partytime… Im gonna make you sweat with the help of Wez Clarke, Eddie Kid and the incredible Charles E. Salter aka MaxC on vocals. “Without You†is uplifting Vocal House at its best from the latest Hed Kandi compilation “Ibiza 2010″. Reminds me that I need to go back to Ibiza again soon… My favourite! John Kano, also known as Havanna Funk, brings you an emotional dance bomb with his new release “Memories‘â€. The Rivaz remix is the perfect 'End Of The Summer' track, very melancholic… Talking about melancholy - you also need to check out the awesome Gorillaz booty of “On Melancholy Hill†- brilliant! What else? Trance heads might enjoy Armin Van Buurens collaboration with Sophie Ellis Bextor on “Not Giving Up On Love“. But is it really Trance? Some call it Pop Trance, but I think its not so far away from Prog House too. Anyway, it is a nice catchy track with the best SEB I heard in a long time… Out soon on Born To Dance Records: “One of THE big Ibiza tunes for me this summer!†(Judge Jules BBC Radio 1). Hello Weekenders, its the first September weekend and it is already pretty cold and wet in my part of the world! Hate it… Some of the hottest remixers will help to keep us warm for a new party weekend - Richard Cutmore as example with another great job for Enrique Iglesias and his new single “Heartbeat“. Much better than the original… Two Come Back singles made it into the tracklist: the first new Ace Of Base song since 2003 (with 2 new vocalists) called “All For You†and Jamiroquais “White Knuckle Ride†from their forthcoming album “Rock Dust Light Star†which got the remix treatment by Seamus Haji. Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 159 17th/18th September
Hello Weekenders,
A new weekend, a new Weekend Warm Up Show with - no, not me but Sosua & Mad! In case you do not know them already (shame on you…), here is their biography:
Since 2000, the boys Sosua & Mad have been rocking the clubs all over Germany. Their impressive style mix of vocal, club and tribal house promises a beach feeling not only in summer. In addition to numerous gigs in the federal states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, since 2004 they have been successful resident DJs in the club Savoy in Göttingen, which won the German Disco Award for best German Club in 2007. At the same time, Sosua & Mad rocked the Sputnik Turntable Days, organized by the regional radio station MDR, and performed their sophisticated sets on the radio.
Since 2005, the club Nachtcafe in Leipzig has been another of the boys residency clubs. That they not only know how to mix perfectly but also how to party show countless support gigs for main acts like Boogie Pimps, Phats & Small, and the Tune Brothers. Quickly, the DJ tables become a dance floor, and often their style leaves a unique touch even before the main acts enter the stage.
2008 was another very successful year with their tune “Supaconstellation†being signed by Housesession Records. It hasnt been long before the Hed Kandi DJs Wez Clarke and Andy Norman played their sets. Now Sosua & Mad also regularly support Housesessions Records events, taking place at the hip location “Blauer Salon†in Dresden.
Thanks for your work guys! Enjoy this killer set and have a perfect weekend!

Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 160 1st/2nd October 2010
Hello again, The first October weekend is coming with top class remixes / remixers, Top Ten tracks, diva vocals, funky tunes and some Disco House! Make sure that you wear your dancing shoes and get ready to party! Funk3d is the alias of DJ and producer Ben Corker, who also produced under the names DJ Ben C and Detraction. His commercial remixes with a splash of electro are really addictive. Listen to two of his takes this weekend for Pendulum (â€The Island“) and for Bruno Mars No.1 hit “Just The Way You Are“. Diva vocalist Kimberly Davis keeps the D1 Music mantra of infusing dance floors with electrifying music alive with her new hands-in-the-air club anthem “Twist Of Love“. Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 163 15th/16th October 2010
Hello Friends, Nadine Coyle releases her hotly anticipated debut solo single “Insatiable“, co-written by Nadine and golden era-Robbie Williams collaborator Guy Chamber, on November 1st 2010 and album of the same name on November 8th. The album is set to be one of the biggest musical events of the year, marking Nadines first solo venture after seven years, five albums and millions of record and ticket sales as part of one of the most successful UK female acts of all-time, Girls Aloud. The addictive Wawa remix of “Insatiable†is the showopener this weekend. The Babys were a British rock/pop group that broke through in the U.S. in the fall of 1977 with their hit, “Isnt it Time“, followed by “Everytime I Think of You“, both of which reached #13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. The 1976-1978 Babys line-up consisted of vocalist/bassist John Waite, drummer Tony Brock, Keyboard player/guitarist Michael Corby, and guitarist Wally Stocker. From 1979-1981, the Babys line-up consisted of vocalist Waite, drummer Brock, bassist Ricky Phillips, guitarist Stocker and keyboardist Jonathan Cain. The Deelay remix of “Everytime I Think Of You†is the retro track this weekend. The debut single “All Time Low†by British boy band The Wanted reached number one on the UK singles chart in August 2010. Their upcoming debut studio album is scheduled for release on 25 October 2010, their next single will be “Heart Vacancy†which has got the remix treatment by Tonka - my favourite track this time. Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 164 October 22nd/23rd 201
Hello again, After a freezing cold week here in Germany I will definitely need a warm up program to be well prepared for this party weekend and I hope you will join me for a dozen of the hottest new songs Ill spin for you this time. Listen to a couple of excellent Disco/French House tracks like the funky “House Of Love†by Manyus from Italy featuring Eclissi Di Soul. Uplifting, infectious party music… Or to another excellent Fred Falke take on “You Needed Me†by The Playin Stars and Romanthony on vocals. This man always delivers… Check out the freshest buzz from the Hungarian Dance chart Compact Disco and their hit single “Im In Loveâ€, which climbed to No.3 position on local dance chart as the highest Hungarian entry this year and was in the Top 10 for 13 consecutive weeks. Their debut album was released December 2009 and got immediately nominated for best electronic production at local Fonogram Award. Their video climbed to No.1 on local Viva Club Chart. They were nominated at local Bravo Otto as Newcomer of the year. This fresh group includes 3 members Begi the DJ, the keyboard player Mao and the singer Csaba Walkó. They are said to be the biggest chance to break outside Hungary according to local industry professionals, whose first reactions on the album were: IS this real Hungarian? The Disco House remix is coming from Germanys Daedalus. You want more Disco? Okay, the retro track is the 1979 smash “San Salvador†by the disco project Azoto aka Celso Valli, a composer, producer and arranger from Italy who was also involved in many so called Italo Disco Music productions in the 80s. The 2004 rework is coming from Moonlight. My favourite this week is a remix of Robyns awesome new single “Indestructible†from her upcoming seventh studio album “Body Talk“. A stunning remix has been delivered by R2C2, the extemely talented producers/remixers and DJs Corey Craig and Saul Ruiz from New York City. I really dont know what else to spin if you dont want to get up and dance to this one… ;o) The Tracklist: 1. The Saturdays Ft. Flo Rida - Higher (7th Heaven Club Mix) 2. Royaal Ft. All Rize - I Aint Stoppin (Extended Radio Mix) DJs Favourite This Week3. Robyn - Indestructible (R2C2 Club Mix) 4. Edward Maya - This Is My Life (Digital Dog Extended Edit) 5. New Generation Ft. Lucas - Touch Somebody (Iane Robertson Remix) 6. Example - Kickstarts (Wideboys Extended Club Mix) 7. Manyus Ft. Eclissi Di Soul - House Of Love (Original Mix) 8. Compact Disco - Im In Love (Daedalus Club Mix) 9. The Playin Stars Ft. Romanthony - You Needed Me (Fred Falke Remix) 10. Tim Berg Ft. Mixgeselle - Weekend Warm Up Show 165 October 29th/30th 201
Hello Weekenders, Monster tracks, killer artists - the Halloween weekend is on the way and you will get a show-special to die for… ) Let me mention a few names: McFly, Hannah, America Olivio, Eric Prydz, Shakira… On the remix: Bassmonkeys, Nu Addiction, Wawa, DJs From Mars, Freemasons… This is an awesome lineup for the Weekend Warm Up Halloween Special. You will love it! I am kicking off the party with THE Halloween classic, “Thriller†by Michael Jackson, reworked by Rilod. There is no better track to start this show I think - Well, maybe “Ghostbusters“ would do it too, but I could not find a quality remix… ;o) And I know that many of you are loving the retros, so you will get another classic! Bruce Hornsby And The Range released “The Way It Is†in 1986, their first and biggest hit which made it on top of the charts in many countries worldwide. Eric Chase worked on a new version and the fabulous Bassmonkeys delivered a perfect remix. Out soon on Fierce Angels Records - essential! Fresh and brand new for you: the fifths release on Flawless recordings will come from Steve Westover who collaborates with singer/songriter Jwaydan Moyine. Its a great funky and uplifting club track called “Save Me“. And my favourite this week: Eric Prydzs upcoming single called “Niton (The Reason)“. Its the vocal version of a song he released under his alter ego Pryda earlier this year. On vocals: the fantastic Jan Burton. I am absolutely in love with that one! Enjoy the show and have a perfect Halloween Party! The Tracklist:1. Rilod - Thriller (Original Mix) The Retro Track2. Eric Chase - The Way It Is (Bassmonkeys Mix) 3. Max Porcelli Ft. Alison Wade - On The Dancefloor (Roben & Howard 2010 Remix) 4. Crazy Love - Rumours (Extended Radio Edit) 5. Nari & Milani And Cristian Marchi Ft. MaxC - I Got You (Antillas & Dankann Inda House Rework) 6. Steve Westover Ft. Jwaydan Moyine - Safe Me (Original Vocal Mix) 7. McFly - Shine A Light (Nu Addiction Club Mix) 8. Hannah - Sanity (Wawa Club Mix) 9. America Olivio - Deja Vu (DJ Escape & Tony Coluccio Main Mix) DJs Favourite This Week10. Eric Prydz Ft. Jan Burton - Niton (The Reason) (Club Mix) 11. Bobby Blue - Go (DJs From Mars Club Mix) 12. Shakira Ft. Dizzie Rascal - Loca (Freemasons Mixshow Extended Edit)
